Glass and Office Partitions
Partitions are how you turn open floor space into offices, meeting rooms and quiet areas — without losing the light and openness that makes a modern workplace feel good to be in.
McCreery designs, supplies and installs glazed and solid partition systems across Dublin and all of Ireland. We handle the survey, the design, the manufacture and the installation, and because partitions are usually part of a wider fit-out, we can coordinate them with your layout, power, lighting and furniture rather than leaving you to manage separate trades.
Glazed glass partitions
Glass partitions divide space while letting daylight travel through the floor. They're the standard choice for meeting rooms and manager's offices in modern fit-outs.
Single glazed
A single pane in a slim frame. The most cost-effective glazed option, suited to spaces where you want definition and light rather than high acoustic separation.
Double glazed
Two panes with a cavity between them, giving noticeably better sound insulation. The right choice for meeting rooms, HR offices, boardrooms and anywhere confidential conversations happen.
Frameless systems
Dry-jointed glazing with minimal visible framing, for a clean, contemporary finish. We install systems including Clearline.
Solid stud partitions
Where you need full privacy, a wall to mount to, or a lower cost per metre, solid stud partitions finished in plasterboard and painted to your specification. We install systems including Trimwall. Solid and glazed partitions are often combined on the same project — solid to the corridor, glazed to the office.
Doors
Doors are made to fit the opening and specified to suit the room: timber doors, timber with vision panels, or full glass doors with safety manifestation. Available in a range of heights, finishes and ironmongery.
Manifestation, graphics and privacy
Glass partitions need manifestation — the markings that make the glass visible so people don't walk into it. That requirement is also an opportunity: frosted bands, gradient films, patterns or your own branding can be applied to give the space character while providing privacy where you need it. We can apply custom graphics to glazing and to solid walls.
Partitions and acoustics
How well a partition controls sound depends on the glazing specification, how the partition meets the floor and ceiling, and what's happening in the space around it.
